A friend took this while driving just west of us yesterday in the St. Vrain Canyon. They were getting ready to do their thing, RAM each other. The quality isn't too good because it was taken while looking through the windshield with a cell phone.

Me either Tim! A couple of summers ago Mark and I drove over TrailRidge Road (the highest continuous paved road in the U.S.) to see his dad in Grand Lake. There were several rams on the side of the road, and you would not believe the amount of people not only out of their cars, but trying to pet them! YIKES!!!

I'm not a big-time hunter but I know that in the past, Colorado has had raffles for a chance at a permit for Bighorn Sheep - I think those are what they are, close maybe. One Texan got a permit and paid something like just over $10,000 extra for a cabin, horses, and a guide. The hike into the mountains takes over a day.

And here you have them making whoopee on the side of the road in plain sight?

I do believe we've got some kind of wildlife smut about to go down there. Did you yell out the window and tell them to get a room? Tip

Nah Tip, They're in the wild west, they don't need no stinkin' rooms!;)

Why spend ten grand for hunting them when for the price of a few tanks of gas you can see them in all their glory?
