North Central Wisconsin: No way you could be shuttail here today. Exposed flesh freezes in under 45 seconds. This makes it especially difficult if one has to relieve hisself outdoors. Not only do you have to do it under the 45 seconds but one has to produce a stream fast! It freezes on contact with the ground and sometimes even in mid air. A few years back the stream froze so fast it almost got frozen back to the doggie!
Countdown at 60!!!!:D :D :D :D

Da^^n G-Man, I scare the pets when I spontaeously erupt in a burst of laughter like that. That was a vivid mental picture that I won't soon forget.
Gawd, I love the variety on this forum.
BTW, the wind chill here last night was about 8 below....
But, if I may borrow a neener from Teener...
No humidity!
Ho Hum!!! Its a frigid 76.7 degrees here, 90% humidity (terrible on the hair Patti P) and a breeze of 18 mph. Gotta get my woolies out tonight, the A/C gets so cold! ;) :D :p

MAJOR neener, Pat, I'm impressed!
BTW, it's sunny, dry, no clouds and about 68 here. No neener, just the facts:)

Well, the wind has picked up here, it just gusted a few minutes ago at 30mph from the south. Temp is 77.2. The winds are expected to pick up more and we are actually suppose to get rain tomorrow!! Hope it does or by Monday, we'll need to buy water....man, I hate to buy water!

You lucky stiffs, while us on South Padre can't hardly get over 50 degrees with north winds 10-20 and drizzle. You can tell the Winter Texas because they don't have any shirts on ... but narry a local to be found on the streets or beaches. Finally got rain for the first time since October though, and I hope you get some soon.
And 30 from the south, I'll bet the boats are all stuck at the docks, wow. /sammie

Our thermometer is currently reading 82 degrees here in Lubbers Land...though w/ the wind, I'm sure it's closer to Pat's reading...blow'in pretty good from the southern quadrant, like it's not sure what it wants to do...SE, SW, then back to SE...20-25...the front seems to be on it's way...come on rain...

Yeah, the wind is really gusting out there. Troy just put his dive boat out on the mooring in Fishers Bay. Little choppy right now.
Forgot to add the picture....sorry....senior moment # 503

42 degrees and falling in Macon, Ga. I'm flying some folks up to Peoria and on to Minneapolis at 4:00PM where the forcast calls for a temp of about 4 degrees on arrival. I admit with no shame that these northerners are tougher than I am when it comes to cold. I'll revise and reverse that statement here in July and August.FlightAware > Live Flight Tracker > N802M (http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N802M) <---so you can feel sorry for me. The good news is I come home tonight!

Abacouple.....I'm in Peoria and it is only 3 degrees now! Looks like those 3 degrees will be leaving us and taking a few of their friends - supposed to get below 0  .
The only thing that gets me through these winters is knowing that I have an Abaco trip to look forward to....even if it is still 162 days away!

Hey it's the same temp here as in Boulder - 52 degrees. Not fair! For you that might be small dog weather but we're still in full doggie lock-down here! :D

Got up to about 38 here in VA. Gray and cold. Winter finally got here. Our 80+lb dogs don't have to worry about the gusts until they get to at least 50mph.

Last night, just west of us, there was a wind gust of 105mph reported on Niwot Ridge. When it blows like that, it literally sounds like an out of control freight train coming down the canyon.
