I have some unexpected time off in Octber. Is it worth coming down? We keep hearing everything is closed?

Here is a list from the Abaconian. I guess it all depends on where you want to stay.



Orchid Bay- Guana Cay - closed until Nov.
Abaco Inn- Hopetown - closed until 19 Oct.
Capt. Jack's and Harbour's Edge- Hopetown - no dates
Curly Tails- Marsh Harbour - closed to mid- Oct.
Hummingbird- Marsh Harbour - closed 3 weeks in Oct.
Jib Room- Marsh Harbour - closed to mid- Nov
Mangoes- Marsh Harbour - no dates
Wally's- Marsh Harbour - closed to 30 Oct.
Coconuts (at TC) - closed until Oct.

NOT ONE beach will be closed in October.........as long as it's Legally accessed!!!:rolleyes:

Just got back from a boys weekend and the water temp was 84 degrees, mild weather and calm seas...

Many believe that October is THE BEST MONTH in the Abacos.

Don't forget Sea Spray is always open and so is Hope town Harbour lodge.

You will love it here in the slower season. Always something going on!!!

:) Go on down in October and enjoy yourself. Less crowds, enjoy the local folks and great weather! I am in the countdown mode. I will be there in November. November 3rd to be exact. Can't wait...:cool:

All the restaurants ( with the exception of Orchid Bay ) are open in Guana as of yesterday

Blue water grill
Nippers
Guan Beach resort
Art Cafe
Love's Kitchen

Great boating weather this week and no bugs
