A very sharp person just informed us that the hint for 28 Across is incorrect. It should be "Another name for machete", not "Slang for machete".

15 Down: Easy riders. The "Scurvey Few" is a motorcycle club best known here for its annual Toys for Tots Drive along with other charitable work.

16 Down: Irish butter. One of the very few things inexpensive things down here is delicious Irish butter. The reason is that Ireland is a part of the Commonwealth, so the tax man stays away.
