Ok you Abaco-addicts, I need a little help here. I am taking my wife to Manhattan for a 5-day mini visit this Monday......and, you guessed it, she wants to see a play or two. I need recommendations! HELP.........Broadway, off-Broadway.....it doesn't matter. Actually might prefer off-broadway with the smaller theatres......I plan to buy tickets at the TKTS booth so I need several suggestions so I can buy the one that might be available that day.......thanking you guys in advance......Ken:D

Well I guess the peep shows that used to be on 42nd are out of the question if you got Carol. Sooo, these people seem to know the shows:

Too bad, one of my favorites, Man of La Mancha doesn't seem to be playing. I could use some swinging at windmills right about now. -sams

Hey Ken, your help seems to be thinning out. My wife kathy and her sister saw "Wicked" earlier this year. Love it. Miss Saigon's an old standby if its still around. Good luck. mike

I'm with Mike. I saw Wicked here in Los Angeles a week ago and really enjoyed it. It's funny, sad, entertaining.... loved it, loved it, loved it!

Jersey Boys is great! Saw it last Summer here in San Diego and loved it. Not for someone who is offended by raunchy language tho'
If you go to the Marriott in Times Square you can wait in line and I believe at 3:00 they sell tickets to shows at a 50% discount for that day. Also if you are in Times Square on a weekday, just walk around...there are people (legit) that sell discounted tickets.
I know it's been around forever but I hear Tony & Tina's Wedding is really fun. It's in the basement of the Edison Hotel and is a real bargain.
You are going to have a great time!

PS The X rated puppet play is supposed to be really good too! Sorry, I can't remember the name.
