We are looking at tacking another two days to the end of our trip in May 2007. After a week on Lubbers, we thought we would spend two nights at the Conch Inn and try and to ease back into realilty. The Conch Inn is at the Moorings Marina on Marsh Harbor. Does anyone have any experience with this place? Any other suggestions for lodiging in Marsh Harbor for just two nights? I looked at the Abaco Beach Resort, and it's just not our style, we prefer the smaller places. If you have negative feedback, just send me a PM. Thanks........

Haven't stayed there but the restaurant was great and they completely rebuilt after H Jeanne. We did the same thing last July and stayed at the Pelican Shores Villas over by the Jib Room for two nights and it was very nice.

Conch Inn will work very well for you, as will Lofty Fig across the street.

Chuck, I see your date is in May, if I were you I would try to book now since May can be busy with the tournaments and they use the rooms for people who lease the Moorings boats. They are list as the Moorings. I think their number is 1-242-367-4000. Also they have a great bar on site.

Hi Chuck,
I can second the vote for Pelican Shores Villas. My dad and I stayed there for 3 days on our way to Sandy Point in April 2006. Very clean and comfortable. Easy cab ride to ferries and restaurants.
cheers

We stayed at the Conch Inn for one night and found it to be very nice and this was before it was rebuilt. Would definitely recommend and the restaurant was great..
