Hey Folks,

Looking forward to hearing from you on this one.

Could you please let us know the Location, days of the week and times for your favorite scheduled local functions and events. Things like the pig roast at Nippers the second tuesday of each week etc. We'll have a couple weeks in July 2007 and during week one friend Diane will join Liz and they need a few regularly scheduled Thelma & Louise-type activities. We're boating and have 11 & 14 yr old boys with us so talking afternoons/daylight, PG-13ish... etc.

We're gonna be honest with ourselves and build our tentative cruising plan around some our our favorite activities.

So please, What, Where and When are your favorite Abaco's shenanigans happenin'?

The Regatta is in July and the Stranded Naked Party too! Not sure of the 2007 dates yet. Its usually the first week of July.

Where are you staying, and do you have access to a rental boat? That will influence what you will conveniently be able to do.

We are chartering out of Marsh Harbor and will have boat and dinghy for the first two weeks of July 2007. Including 7/4, don't know if much is going on but maybe the ex-pat Americans rally to the excuse for a gathering.

Plenty of good times and plenty happening in July! Thursday nights at the tipsy bar in the Treasure cay marina is pizza night and it is awesome pizza with lots of kids and families in and around the pool. If you venture that way on a thursday the teenage kids will have a great time and get full bellies cheap (Bahama cheap that is).

Seaspray Resort on Elbow Cay usually does something on Monday night, and Cracker P's has a weekly event. Try asking again a week or two before your trip, things have a way of changing. Also, make sure you listen to Cruisers' Net every morning on VHF 68 (8:15), they'll announce all of the day's entertainment activities.

Tuesday nights at Coco Beach Bar in Treasure Cay they have their Western Night. Very good food, DJ and a Bon Fire. Altough, I don't know if they do bon fire in July they do in Feb/Mar. Very nice night out!!!! Get to meet and mingle too!

That reminds me of the old Coco Paradise when Chef Cool use to do a buffet on Wed. nights....Memory is slipping I think it was Wed. nights anyway I miss that place. It was a nice alternative to Nippers.

You're bringin' back memories when you mention Coco Paradise! What a cool place to kick back, eat, drink with Mikey and tell Abaco lies.......then it disappeared and I took up with Guana Seaside.......favorite place to be other than my wife's arms........alas, it too went away......but.....through it all.....we have Nippers. Good coffee conversation in the morning whilst Johnny prepares his morning announcement on the cruisers net, good afternoon conversation over a dozen Kaliks, and nighttime ACTION! Can't wait to get back and see everyone.....ken
