We've finalized our plans and are going to be staying in a cottage rather than bareboating and we'll be on Lubbers. Any recommendations on places to do the above? We'll have a 23' Albury. Thanks!

Hopefully the good folks at Watercolours and Summerview will chime in here. Make sure you read Fishing in Abaco (http://www.drralph.net/FishininAbaco2005.html). If you want to go out into the ocean, make sure you discuss it with the rental boat people. Bottom fishing is excellent off the south end of Lynyard Cay in 30-50'. We've had good luck with conch between Channel Cay and Tilloo Bank, but they are getting harder to find each year.

Thanks for the info, we'll have to stay away from conch until the 2nd wk when our shell fish allergy person departs.
I have perused all of your articles and learned a great deal. I even know that the 250 Evinrude Ficht on your 2005 trip got 2.25 nmpg :) Might need to make the board content a trivia contest to go along w/ the crossword puzzles

Have a good time. Good bottom fishing near the big rock heading out Tilloo cut. Wahoo are starting to show up!!!! You might find conch between Elbow & Man-A-War. Have fun and report back.

BTW- Sea Spray has fun happy hours too.
