Hi,

Just a quick question regarding the ferry service. I just looked at the most recent issue of the Abaconian and it appears that the 5:45 pm run to Guana Cay has been deleted. Can someone confirm that? My family will be arriving in Marsh Harbour at 3:30pm on November 18th and have rented a boat from Rich's Boat Rental. I wasn't sure if we would have time to pick the boat up and make it to Guana Cay and figured that the ferry would be a good "Plan B".

Thank you in advance for any information!!

Depending on the weather and the conditions of the Sea of Abaco, it is normally a pretty easy ride, especially if you have one of the 26' Paramounts from Rich's... they are a little heavy on the gas consumption but very comfortable in rough sea conditions.

According to the November 1st Abaconian, there was information that said the last ferry, 5:45 pm, will resume on November 14th.

Checked Weather Underground for Saturday's weather and it says that the winds will be NNW at 15 MPH and partly sunny.

Thanks for the information. We have a 21' boat reserved at Rich's. We need to hit the grocery store before heading to Guana Cay but think we will have enough time. Can't wait for our week in the islands!!!
