Hi Everyone,
BTC "upgraded" its web site and it is the perfect example of how bad its management is: lots of sizzle and truly lousy performance. Go to btcbahamas.com and try using the directory. Lots of graphics, animation and the like which only waste bandwidth and time. The pages are so cluttered that the ads get lost and the number of keystrokes needed to get the info you want are now trebled.
Now compare and contrast BTC with Google. Google's home page is clean, straightforward and fast. Its results pages are the same.
The sad part of all this is the incredible amount of time and money that was wasted by BTC's management again.
Instead of making it fast, clean, relevant and placing Yellow Pages ads based on the search criteria, it decided to emulate the physical world and in doing so gave us all the worst of both the electronic and physical worlds.
Oh well.
Cheers -- SusieAndAl
