Well, the day after tomorrow we will arrive the Abacos. My information tells me that the seas on the outside are 8'-13'; not good for trolling in a 30' boat.
So, it looks like we will be spending a lot of time in the Sea of Abaco. Just wanted to get some input from everyone on my fishing ideas based on what I have learned here.
Going to try trolling around Snake Cay and Lubbers with spoons, light skirted lures and a couple of diving plugs. Would this be the best locations and lures?
I have a pretty good idea where to reef fish- south end of Lynyard, blue hole west of Snake Cay, Outer Point Cay, north of Water Cay, Tiloo cut just off Cooperjack Cays, Point Set Rock and inside MOW.
I would really appreciate any other ideas as well as some insight on my plans as described above.
Thanks everyone.

TGOF (The Grumpy Old Fishermen) always say " they bite where you fish"---
Actually--
We've always found lots of barracuda and medium yellowtails trolling little yellow curly tail jigs between Elbow & MOW outside Johnny's Cay. We also anchor up close to the N end of Elbow in about 20' & chum a lot-seems to be kinda ok sucessful. Good luck!!!

Tilloo has some grassy areas from what I understand ... sheltered from the waves and wind sometimes ... you did not hear this from me or the mysterious Yahoe will keel me!
There are a ton of winter hot-spots on the inside you just have to check for whether the bait is moving or not; the tide does seem to be a factor.
Otherwise, most folks slow troll the inside with divers like headed to Nippers or somethang. Hey, you could do worse and there's always a fishie of some sort. Tight lines, brah.

Try Tilloo Cut on the inlet side man. Start trolling from the center rock by the man house just as you leave da runway, work bot shores down to da cut follow da basin and troll up da opposite shore.
I have pulled in plenty nice fish there ven it is rough seas outside, but be quick or you will share dem wit a shark.

I have a couple peices of advice when it comes to trolling around Snake Cay.
1. You don't have to be right up tight to find the fish. Start by trolling as close as you feel comfortable and then work your way out away from shore. Most the big Mutton we have pulled out of there trolling were at a minimum 200 yards off the beach.
2. The outgoing tide seems to be the trick when trolling around Snake Cay. We have had great luck on the outgoing tides and not so much trolling on the incoming tide.
3. When I mention trolling around Snake Cay I mean the area between Witch's Point (watch your depth) and Iron Cay.
4. I have no personal experience with this but a local told me that on an incoming tide you do go right up to the creeks and such that run behind the Cays and anchor in a moving current, drop a chum bag in, and free line your bait down the current.
I have heard the the area between Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay along Great Abaco offers similar action with the added bonus of some building debris deposited in the waters somewhere in there. I have only caught 1 yellow tail snapper (a rather large one) and 1 spanish mackeral (again large) trolling behind the outer Cays. I have caught boat loads of Barracudas and jacks in that area. I have also caught a bunch of lane snapper anchored by fish motel behind tillo chumming at night.
good luck.

I thank you all for the great tips. There is no doubt that we will catch fish.
Look forward to being there tomorrow.
Best to all
