Forum Best Picture Contest Voting Procedure

Voting starts at 12:01 AM Thursday, (Dec 21), and runs through Thursday, Dec 28 (midnight).


You can vote for three entrants; please specify first, second, and third place. First place gets three points, second gets two, third gets one, for a total of six points. If you can’t prioritize and simply vote for three, each gets two points.

Each member can only vote one time. If there are multiple voters in your household and each wants to vote separately, then each has to register on the Forum as a new member to enable them to vote.

You can vote one of three ways: post a reply in this thread, send me an email, or send me a private message (just click on my name by my goofy avatar at the upper left of this post).

You must specify the photographer, picture title, and date; we don’t want any confusion. For example, a valid vote would be: “PatW, High Rocks Nov 20.”

I’ll post the winner Dec 29, and we’ll notify Mark. You and he can then work out the details of your cruise. Good luck to all of our entrants.

I've seen several votes for "Blues and Greens" by Rum Punch, from their post on 11/26, but for some reason the photos in that post don't appear on my screen. Why is that? I don't seem to be missing any others.

When I went back to look, I couldn't see the pics posted by AbacoBrad. I know I saw them before (because I love the one of the feet on the porch railing) - when he posted them, but not today. His post is not even listed on the main "list of posts" at the top of the screen. That is weird!

Dr. Ralph, thanks for resizing and re-posting my images. I guess I didn't completely read your instructions, so I only down-rezzed them to 800 x 533, but since I have my 19inch monitor set to 1024 I could see them fine in the original post.

This was a great contest and there were some outstanding images entered. Congratulations to the winners. Excellent shots !!

Thanks everyone for voting for my picture. That was taken from the old guana seaside resort at sunset. My husband and I would go there almost every night because the place was deserted and just watch the sunset! Can't wait to go back:) (But when I do get back I know it won't be the same at that place anymore:mad: )
