Reported in the media here in the UK this week was a new device called a 'Slingbox', which connected to the TV and a broadband/DSL connection in your home in Europe (or presumably N America too) will stream any TV selection you want from there to a broadband/DSL connection (and a recorder if you want) anywhere else in the world. No cable/satellite fee in your second home, just DSL either end.
Something else along with Skype that conventional phone cos, let alone Batelco, are not going to be too happy about. It's a changing world (and an added reason to have broadband/DSL when available).
