Managing info about "stolen boats"

As you all are aware, there is situation evolving in Abaco involving the serial theft of several boats; you have read about it and discussed it here on the Forum. We have elected to combine all of the related posts (from several threads) into one thread that will be "stuck" (permanently placed) at the top of The Rant forum. As new posts and threads occur, we will move them to this thread.

Please understand this is a disturbing and difficult issue for all parties involved, as well as for those of us who run the Abaco Forum, and after consideration and discussion, this is how we have elected to handle it. Your cooperation and consideration is greatly appreciated.

Here is the current status until Dr. Ralph finds the old posts:

BOLO---BE ON THE LOOKOUT for 2 Contenders stolen from White Sound Elbow Cay on June 6th...
#1---a new ICE BLUE Contender 31ft with two 250hp Yamahas--this boat has less than 10 hours on it
#2---a 2003 Contender 36ft white with navy blue bottom paint/ three 225hp Yamahas and registration # FL 735MH
#3--a 29ft SEA HUNT called "Sea Dancer" was stolen from Boat Harbour June 13th around 3am--twin 250 Yamahas/the boat and t-top are cream in color.
Do not approach these vessels if seen--contact your local police or MH Police on 242-367-2560 or VHF channels 16 and 80

Unfortunately in the process of combining ten threads we lost several of the posts. We are trying to dredge them up. In the meantime, there is a thread placed at the top of The Rant (http://www.abacoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4037), it will stay there, and this is where we'll ask you to post information about stolen boats. We apologize, sometimes ess happens.
