Trying to find out where the Duchess is fishing out of these days?
Does anyone have contact information for Capt Billy Black?

I saw Billy Black, the Dutchess and his dog at Boat Harbor at the swim up bar in August. He said he'd been running trips out of there since leaving Walkers after 04 hurricanes and seemed to be doing well. If you need to get in touch with him you can call the marina office and they will get him the message

I wonder how the new regs that passed friday will effect these charter boats. Press release from Bahama information services 1/12 states no more than 20 lbs. of grouper and snapper combined per boat. Limiting dolphin, tuna, kings, and hoos to a total of six combined per vessel. And for those of us who enjoy lobstering, down to six per boat.

I had heard that he had a place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I am not sure if he is still there. I thought he had some family here in Florida too. I am not sure if anyone else may know. good luck- he is an amazing man and Captain.

I ran the boat Funny Feelin Too at Walkers and was along side Billy, at Walkers, through Hurricane Francis. We both sustained damage. Billy did get repaired and went to Marsh but things didn't work out for some reason so his boat is behind his son, Allan's house just before the Indiantown Bridge in the St Luci Waterway. Billy is working at the Wallmart in Stuart. That has to be killing him. He had a job running a new 60 Hatteras but that didn't come together either. I would hope he can come up with a job running a boat for someone.
