Albury's ferry prices

Ok, here is the new prices.
$20.00 one way per person
$25.00 round trip per person

You will receive a coupon/voucher from the Capt.
After you return to MH, catch a taxi if you are coming back from Guana Cay, and go to to ferry office adjacent to the MOW/Hopetown ferry docks and you will receive $4.00 for each of the coupons/vouchers.

If I hear anything different on the procedure, I will post the information immediately.

We have never been to MOW so we were contemplating taking ferry to Guana one day and MOW another. Will the voucher be able to be used towards a ticket to MOW?

All I know is that you will get a voucher and you turn it in at the office for the $4.00 back. So I guess when you go to the MOW dock, pay for your trip over to MOW, then when you return, turn all your vouchers in for your money.

I'm sure its the same as in the past. Buy a round trip, use it the same day.

Thanks Pat. I think we've visited this topic before. You end up paying at least the $4.00 difference to the taxi driver, to take you to the ferry office, and then back to the airport. Oh well. Maybe the taxi drivers will still take them as part of their tips.

Actually, they don't do that anymore. You can buy a round trip ticket now and its good until you make your departure. No more coupon/vouchers to worry about. We buy the frequent user tickets. Its $100.00, you get 10 one way tickets and they don't expire. One ticket per person.

The best part of the frequent user tickets is that once you get home you pin the remaining tickets to your bulletin board with the few Bahamian coins dollars you had left over... since you've already paid for them you know you have to use them!
