I would have no problem asking if I could help work on that sailboat there. Careening is a lost art. Is that seen very much or was that an emergency?

Not an emergency at all. Terry and Mac are only here for the winter months and their sailboat, Free Willy, sits in the harbour while they are away from Guana. They go through this cleaning and painting, every season. I just happened to catch them at work yesterday. Free Willy survived many a hurricane. After Floyd, she was found floating down by Bakers Bay and brought back here. After Wilma, she was sitting on the beach by Milo's. Free Willy is quite a survivor.

Wow great looking water. Do you think you can keep it calm for a while like the rest of the winter? I heard it was so windy there in the fall, and in December. Maybe you guys are due to have a nice long calm streak. Last winter it was windy. Actually it seems mostly windy to me. I guess spring/summer is your calmer?????

It was VERY windy when we were there last April. But the spring before, it was perfectly calm...

Last year we did an extended trip, February, March and first week of April and began getting real nice in April. I don't know what time in April you were there but everything was warming up nicely and more flowers blossoming, it was getting even prettier and we had to leave. The winter before it was real cool too so we contemplating cool temps again but hey, it is better than being in the NE in the winter even with a mild winter as this has been because it is now getting ccccccoooold!
