Just MY opinion but.......

I was reading the Forum and it took me back to the OLD Abaco Message Board and I mean the old board, right after Floyd. I found that board back then when I was looking for help to check on a friend in MOW after Floyd devastated the Bahamas. Sinclair was doing the moderating and was the Webmaster. The board grew in popularity over the years and was very busy! The board members had a habit of joking back and forth, as we do here on the Forum. Instead of sending PM's or e-mails, we answered back and forth on the board. Boy, oh boy, Sinclair would smack our hands and tell us, "You all are using way too much bandwith! Send e-mails to each other, stop the chit chat on the board!" Anybody remember those days? I know deep in my heart that Sinclair was so glad that the board was busy and I know he had to manage the bandwith. After a few days it would all go right back to the boardmembers chatting back and forth as usual! LOL! I made many friends through that board. Abacoparrot, Abacopeach, Jerry, Dr. Ralph & Bunny, PattyB, Gravitystorm ( may she rest in peace), Sinclair. I could go on and on with the list. We had many, many board meetings over the years and in various cities and states. It was a good time and now, we have a new Forum to make new friends and have a great time doing it. Thanks Dr. Ralph & Co. for letting me go back in time and allowing all of us a chance to chit chat, post links to web sites, discuss just about anything we want to discuss and treating us like the adults that we are. My hat is off to all of you! :D

Pat, we love you and Sidney dearly :) The OLD Board was fun indeed, but now we have the Forum with a lot more "adult" freedom and info..

LOL!! That's it! Sinc was a hoot! My hands used to hurt so bad from all the e-mails he sent me telling me that he was "smacking my hands!"
