The NOAA WSR-88 weather radar at FIU in Miami has not been the most reliable lately. Especially since their lightning strike earlier this fall.

The range is slightly less (224nm vs. 248nm) but the resolution is better. It's a feed from the MIA airport, part of a network of radars the FAA installed a few years ago to improve detection of wind shear at mjor airports in the eastern US.
