Okay, I need opinions. Being we will be spending our first (and only time we every did it) week in MH next week, we are planning to do some cays. We have been to Hopetown and GTC. But from MH I believe MOW is the easist to get there correct? What would be sights of interest to do a day trip there? Have never been there and would like to check it out. Will definitely do a day trip to Guana and rent a golf cart to tour around. If we do GTC it will be from TC as I believe it is the closest route. Am I on target or not? Also what is past Past Pub's Pub, anything we should see? Please help us out. Thanks.http://abacoforum.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif

South of Little Harbor you have to go "outside" if you are in a boat.
If driving:

Cherokee is a pretty little fishing village with a bar out on a long dock and beach access.

Casuarina point has a beautifull beach.

Bahama Palm Shores again a perfect long beach

Crossing Rocks has a bar and beach access.

Hole in The Wall is the home of Bahamian Parrots and an old lighthouse.

Sandy Point is another fishing village with a few bars and restuarants, and beautifull beaches.

Regards,
R.

Thanks CR. Trying to compile my data now so that I can plan next week accordingly.

Man-O-War has several things worth visiting. Joe's Studio is on the harbor road, a nice gift shop. He makes nice half-hull models of Abaco dinghies, as does Mr. Albury (the late Emerson Albury's son) in a woodshop nearby. Definitely visit the Sail Shop, where the ladies make good-quality canvas bags of all shapes and sizes. There are other gift shops on the upper road, and just walking through the picturesque settlement and on up the Queens Highway is a nice way to spend an afternoon. There are beautiful beaches and homes tucked away along that "highway", which is mainly a sandy path.

Thanks Charlotte Couple. Hopefully, we will arrive in MH tomorrow afternoon and next week will look into these adventures.

MOW has their Annual School Flea Market and Bazaar on Saturday, Feb. 17 - 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Some great bargains and always lots of wonderful food!

The amazing thing to me is how different the 3 Cays are that you can easily visit via ferry from Marsh Harbour (MOW, Guana, Elbow) They are unique in their own ways but all good. For me, I would visit MOW on "hangover day" since they have no bars over there.......no temptation for that "hair of the Dog" :D
