Just a question for you offshore Abaco fishermen ... do you fish many blue runners? It's a bait we find readily off Texas, and is quite effective when artificials don't work for amberjack, hoo, sails, grouper, tuna, and others. The reason I ask is because we caught BIG rainbow runners off North MOW Channel, not the smaller blue. So big we ate the rainbow runner, which was quite delicious by the way. I just haven't seen a bunch of schooling blue runner and wanted to ask. These fish are like candy, almost better than ballyhoo in my mind. Thanks! -sammie

Same issue, caught them in the channels in tiloo and MOW, hard to get in any quantity even when chumming and a little large in my opinion for live bait in Abaco (14").

GrillGrate of course......

Just split them, whole, don't skin, don't scale, skin side down, a little oil and salt and pepper...... a few ice cold 'Kaliks'
