I am renting a house in June and my boat rental does not start until the day after I arrive so I will need to take the ferry to White Sound. According to Sea Spray's website ferries to and from White Sound operate per "on demand" basis and to ask terminal the operator for the next available White Sound departure. My question is do they charge you $90 (per Albury Ferry's website) for the charter rate or is it the regular price? If anybody has experience with this, how long of a wait could I be looking at if there is not a big group already heading to White Sound? Any advice would be appreciated. Dr. Ralph it seems that I have read that you stayed at Sea Spray before, did you have a similar situation?

You will just take the normal Hopetown which will take you to the post office dock. Just arrange for Seaspray will pick you up there.

Sorry, I just re-read my post and I was not very clear, I'm not staying at Sea Spray. We are staying at a house close to Sea Spray and I just referred to their website to see how people usually get there. Thanks for the help though.

Is there a caretaker or a manager you can ask? You could arrange for a golf cart rental and drive your gear to the house, if you think you would have room. Seaspray does pick up their guests at the ferry dock, but I don't think they do it for anyone else.
