OK, so what is the purpose of the new board? will it be more open and less moderated?
while I dont want to read a lot of rands and diss'es, I would like to see (honest) unfavorable comments.
on the other board I often saw the paid advertisers bad posts being edited or deleted.... imho thats protecting the guilty.
bad airline stories were allowed, but if you had problems with a boat rental, or house, no way was that allowed to be seen. (It ALMOST seemed like a kind of blackmail... want to protect your reputation? guilty or not... advertise here.)
That said, most if not all the companies I've delt with in abaco have been very friendly and honest folks...
(on the other hand, I'd sure like to know when someones dive boat sinks. (with customers aboard) and why.... like, was it the suprise storm or just bad maintenance? not to mention names... of course :cool: )
