Trip Reports

One thing we can do on this board is to encourage trip reports. In years past one of the most exciting things to read on the message board was a well written trip report.....an account of adventures encountered on one's visit to Abaco. Some were short and factual while others were hilarious and most entertaining. Reading these reports were often as informative as getting questions answered since they provided info on goings-on that newbies didn't even know to ask about. Perhaps the administrator, while selling advertising, could find a sponsor for the best trip report of the month and have that sponsor give a token, but decent gift away each month as a prize. Gain readership by allowing the readers to vote on the best report.......just a thought to separate this board from the others.....Ken

I agree, and we have an entire section dedicated to trip reports on the DrRalph web site. People do love to read them, and they help newbies plan their activities, they get to see what other folks have done. When our traffic picks up and we get advertisers, that may be something we can look at doing.
