LOL, the Suwannee is a beautiful freshwater river of at least a hundred miles, stretching from Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico. I had no idea strugeon even lived there, but they are river fish, not ocean-going. Decades ago, there were sturgeon on the Upper Hudson River.

The most freshwater you'll find in the Abacos is in a swimming pool, is my reconning. The main "jumpers" in the ocean off the Abacos appear to be marlin. I was going to say they really love to jump the jet-skis, but that would be tacky.

Sorry folks! It was a lame attempt at humor on my part. Last year at TC my wife and I were almost hit by one....a jet ski that is.

Did you jump over it?

I must admit it, some folks are just waaaaaaayyy too serious and that is why folks go on vacation. Folks need more vacations and longer vacations. :D

Thanks Island Daze and you know I tried ... deleted cookies, rebooted, got back here and registered again ... hey, that system could figure me out right away! You faker, Sturgeon General! Avast and away with thee!

Oh well, my message was going to be "By sometime in December there will be at least one Sturgeon in the Abacos."

I know, silly me.
