When I first posted asking about Vintage & parking I was able to download the spell check feature and use it. When I just replied to Gayle & Chuck the button for spell check wouldn't work and I couldn't add an emoticon to the text body either, the fact that customs was mean to Vintage called for a red mad face and it won't allow it...actually nothing happens. It will however let me add an icon from the bottum but no "smiles from the right side" just attempted it again ..no go.

Things like that usually work better if you click the little A/A icon in the upper right of the compose window before you start. I'm having no problem with the spell check or the emoticons, here's your red face:mad: .
Consider trying again?

here's another try and now I realize that none of the buttons work. Not the a/A before starting or any other. Wonder whats up. Like I said- I was able to use them earlier???

Look at that box in bottom left-hand corner labeled "Posting Rules" and see if you are being allowed to post, use smilies, etc. May have to consult Mont about this if the problem continues.

I went into the usergroup control panel and you have "permission" to use all of those features. Maybe try logging out and log in again?

We're really sorry, I've run out of things to try, maybe "The Man" can help us.

Have you checked your own User CP panel, It'll Do? Under "edit options" make sure at the very bottom under Misc Options, that you have the WYSIWYG box selected and not the basic editor or other. Maybe?

thanks for that Kimmy but thats not it, I am already set on the WYSIWYG as you say it should be, just now testing buttons and still nothing works. When I went back to read my original post about Vintage and parking I was even able to underline the word free. wacky I know.
I would need to know what browser you are using to help. Also, if you are running a firewall, have javascript enabled, and which editor you are using. I highly suggest you use the basic one if you are having issues.
