As a first time visitor, I thought I would share the following trip report that may benefit others considering their first visit:

- My wife and I (late forties) stayed in SlipAway cottage on Eastern Shores near Marsh Harbor. We found the Eastern Shores area to be a great location that provided easy access to the amenities of Marsh Harbor (grocery stores, restaurants and bars and shopping) while also providing quick, centralized access to the other cays. The cottage was very nice and is perfect for two people.

- It is a beautiful, fun destination. We have had the good fortune to travel a fair amount from Bimini to Barbados to Bora Bora. We would return to the Abacos before any of these other destinations. At least for us east coast folks, it is a convenient trip to paradise.

[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]- We enjoyed eating/drinking around Marsh Harbor at Snappas, Curly Tails, Soapadilly

Yes, thanks for the report and the first one to be posted on this new board.
Any other trip reports out there..........thats what we all live for when there is no trip of our own in the near future.:D
BTW, leaving work shortly to go home and mix up a batch of Goombay's for boat drinks tomorrow. Fishing a local tourny and hope to have celebratory drinks on the way back in.

Do you have any pictures to share?Glad you enjoyed your time there, maybe stay on one of the Cays next time? And your right about the Nippers-very deceptive and addictive. One night I tried 1 of every specialty drink at each bar on Guana and the sugar kept me awake until 4 am once the alcohol wore off!
