What you need to do is eat a huge meal, drink way too many kaliks and then head out fishing on rough seas...

Yup, that's make a pretty good chum line for ya! :D Remember to eat a really greasy breakfast too!

Me, no bragging but 12 foot seas are fun, except I can't drink beer from a bottle 'cause I might put my front teef out. Cheap industrial "lawnmower" canned beer is best.

As to chum, I don't use much and I don't believe in using blood and such from a slaughterhouse to bring in the sharks. Lots of people frown on the practice.

However, I have seen people throw whole or cut baitfish over the stern when a pod of tuna is located, so as to keep them interested. That's why some boats fly three to five rods lines, since you want to make it look like a chased school of fish. Chumming is most usually done when drift fishing, not trolling at higher speeds. /sammie
