BTC DSL? Moving to Abaco!

After many years of effort my wife and I are finally ready to move into our Abaco home in Sand Banks this summer. I have a lot of questions about logistics:
1) We will need reliable "DSL" to conduct affairs back in the states... does anybody use BTC either "Auto speed or Cruise Speed" what is the difference? how frequent are intruptions? I need a constant feed 6am-7pm. Are there any other "DSL" options?...any advise is appreciated!

Our Sand Banks home is about 2 1/2 miles south of TC road. off Bootle Hwy near the mouth of Carelton Creek or Sand Banks Creek. It's very quiet seclusive and beautiful there.

That's a beautiful place. In general, you have 4 choices

1) Satellite. By far the most reliable, but also expensive and relatively slow.

2) DSL. By far the most unreliable with horrible service and its going to get worse.

3) Cable. Not sure if it reaches your area. OK reliability, but when things go wrong it takes a long, long time to get back up.

4) Wireless through abacoinet. You'll most likely need to get a repeater/booster, but check with Tara or Chris over there. They are terrific to work with and we use their service.
