Local Sailing Group wins Award
The Forum would like to congratulate Abaco Sailing.com for being voted an outstanding school out of 300 sailing schools around the world by the American Sailing Association. Abaco Sailing is a group of charter operators including Cruise Abaco.com, Bahamas Sailing.com, and See the Sea of Abaco.com. Great job Mark, Alan, John, and the rest of your crews.

It is not suprising.
Sailing is a techinical sport where decisions have to be made very quickly otherwise $1m + bits of plastic hit other $1m + bits of plastic. As opposed to driving a car the wind and tides come into play and many times unlike in car doing nothing is not an option. The learning curve is a lifetime and most never experience all eventualities. Experiencing the learning curve is hard work and it can put you off for life. Teachers have to be patient, good communicators and have a sense of humour. Mark excels in all 3. Congratulations!!
