More Trip Report!

The food:

We had dinner in a few nights. Triggerfish one night from the fish market in Marsh Harbour (yummy) and Lobster from Edmund (double yummy). We got 19 tails for $100.00! Had Jimmy & Corinne (our neighbors-they had us all over for stone crab last year) over and had lots of leftovers for lobster salad the next day!

The people:

One day when we were on our way up to BB in the dinghy I spotted David (Flying Dogs) house. (Angie, I knew that was the place because of the space ship looking shower head LOL!) We ended up stopping by on our way back. What a gorgeous place he and his wife have. And his dogs Franny, Maggie & Dewey are the best. Franny looks just like our Tucker! David invited us in for a beer and I got major doggie hugs in, so much so I was covered in fur! David, thanks so much for the hospitality.

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=3]Steve from Boston was there with his daughter Scoot. We met them last October and it was good to see them both. Scoot has disability challenges but her sweet heart shines through. She loves Guana and her dad loves her very much. He and Scoot come to Guana every year around Halloween, we

And one more installment!

Going Home:

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=3]Thursday, what were Jeana and I thinking? Neither one of us had to be back until Wednesday! Oh well, we get to go home to see our hubbies and animals! Got to Curly Tails, said goodbye to my folks and Tony and headed upstairs to the bar. Go figure! It was a busy day at the dock. We saw Chorene, Glenn, Brad and Blake getting on the ferry back to Guana. Maria came upstairs and we had a lively discussion about politics, she

All Hail the Queen of Trip Reports. It's like a Master Class for all of us young Padawan! Great stories, great pictures and without a doubt captures the feeling of what every Guana trip should be.
The painting in Beach Walk up the desire level for a painting from our Photo Collection. Name the price and its done!

Much love to you and Rick!

Thelma and Louise, you two rock! Sounds like you had the best of everything Guana has to offer. For such a little Cay, that place really does rock. Thanks for taking the time to post this with all the pix. You're great!
Miss you both...

Hi Tina, (I just wrote" Hi Tuna") Just sitting here telling my oldest artistic son how good you were. Then I saw the lobster tails. Priceless. Great pics.

Wonderful trip report!!! I was hoping for some Halloween pics, so thanks for that. All your pics make me want to be there RIGHT NOW! It's sad to think it might a year before I get back. Glad you had such a great time.

I just love the water in the photo of you and your mom standing in the water and the one floating on a raft that looks like it is floating on air. Gorgeous. and great trip report.

Thanks all!

There are 2 places in the world that make me feel like home.
Catalina Island and Great Guana Cay. I feel so fortunate to spend time on both islands, especially the latter. Jeana, Tony, Mom and Dad & I had so much fun, we are still talking about it and will be months from now.

TrueGuanaGirl, Ricky was great! He made sure my Dad had the best pastrami sandwich he's had in a long time. We really liked Kate too, she's got such a great personality and she's so cute. You're lucky to have such a neat brother (as I am!) and BTW he has a very nice boat

Mike from Beantown, those ARE some really nice tails! Neener neener

JJ, it was awesome being in that water with my Mom!

DivaPam, You really need to go there at Halloween time...it's a blast!

Patti P, missed you this trip...we coulda made Viagra Man go running!:e ek:

SapeloSon, thanks, so when are you coming back?

Guys, let's raise a toast to one of our favorite places on earth. It's not just the beautiful water, it's alot about the people we meet.

Clink, clink...

Tina

Guys,

Great report and pix

Thanks, Tina, as always, for a great trip report and some wild photos.
Do you think Edmund will ever forgive you for divulging such a deal on the lobster?? What a platter full!
Great halloween costumes and glad you got to visit the Dog House.
Their place is indeed phenomenal.

Tina! Such a great report! Great pictures. You have truly missed your calling (besides being a great artist!).

I love lobster thermidor. It is my favorite if it is made in a beige color sauce. Can not get it anymore in NJ. If we get to do our trip, I hope they still have it there.

I AM SO JEAOUS OF YOUR TAN!!!!!! Your tan so nicely.

The lobsters.....OMG they look so great. Hope we can get fresh fish/lobster in Feb. I hope our trip plans make it (I always worry about it. I use to love the anticipation now I am scared to death something will prevent us from getting there!!!). It will be our first time on Guana and GTC and will be quite an adventure. I better be able to be mobil or your mom will make me look bad!

Did you find PBI a good airport to fly in/out of? We are going through there as well as our daughter with her boys but she will be by herself with the 2 of them so I am nervous about that.

Your trip report was so exciting. Thanks so much.

Thanks Angie! PBI is a great airport to fly through. Small and very easy to navigate. Going through customs is a breeze and the agents are SO helpful. I wouldn't worry, everything is going to be fine. Just don't sit too long sipping martinis

Norvel, the cost of the lobster will be our little secret

Pat, yep that was too bad you guys felt so awful. Hope you're better!

Tina

PS And Jeana, did I do good remembering?

Thanks Larry,

We did have a great time!

My brother bought the dinghy in the states but I believe he bought the motor in Marsh Harbour. I can find out for you and let you know. BTW, it deflates so it can be easily stored.

Dan, you HAVE to have her read it! I think I recall that you will be in Abaco over Thanksgiving AND a couple of weeks in December. That really calls for a neener neener moment!

Have fun!
