Smile Stranded Naked Cheeseburger Beach Party 2012

Stranded Naked Cheeseburger Beach Party 2012
It is time for some serious beach fun and the annual Cheeseburger Beach Party on uninhabited Fiddle Cay. This party kicks off an amazing 10 days of sailing and racing in one of the most beautiful places in the world to sail or cruise in your boat.

All you Regatta Time in Abaco sailors, cruisers, tourist, power boaters and locals…Bring your entire family, dogs (if it's not like an mountain lion) , cats, children, girlfriend or x-wife (if they are not as mountain lions! ) and join us for a afternoon of the family fun in the warm Bahamian sun. The Houseboat Stranded Naked and their party friends from Green Turtle Cay have prepared another unforgettable day on the beach with food, drinks and fun games for everyone.….Everyone is welcome…Please come and join the hundreds of party goers at 11:00 a.m., June 29th , 2012 on Fiddle Cay, Abaco Bahamas.

We supply-FREE- 1200 Cheeseburgers, 600 hotdogs, 250 pounds of Fries, 100 gallons of Margaritas, 100 gallons of Boat Drinks, and many giveaways for the CHILDREN. The first 1300 people will enjoy a free Stranded Naked 2011 plastic souvenir drink cup courtesy of American Cabin Supply . There is ice water and Kool-Aid for the CHILDREN and plenty of giveaways for their entertainment. This is a family event and a fun time for all ages.

The party starts at 11:00 a.m. and you will enjoy live Jimmy Buffett music Via CD's for the entire afternoon. If Jimmy Buffett has sung it, we have it to play over our sound system for everyone’s enjoyment. Arrive early and bring your favorite chair and umbrella. Fiddle Cay is the next small Cay North of Green Turtle Cay. It is approximately a 10 minute dingy ride from the anchorage at Green Turtle Cay. The skippers meeting starts at 3 p.m. and signing up for the Regatta Time in Abaco race week is available all day at the RTIA tent on northern end of Fiddle Cay.

For further information please email Patricia Henderson at Strandednaked@bellsouth.net

Please, please NO GLASS WHATSOEVER on the beach or in the waters close to Fiddle Cay. There will be buoys and rope blocking off the swimming area. While anchoring your boat at the party please respect the roped off swimming area for the children. These buoys are easily seen when you approach the beach by boat so please anchor outside the swimming area. Please do not remove any sea life and respect the precious sea creatures that live in and around Fiddle Cay.

Remember, we want everyone too have a fun time but safety comes first, drink and boat responsible .

We hope to see you there,

Bobb & Patricia Henderson &
Friends of Stranded Naked

It was so much fun last year! Even though visiting GTC for 12 years, last year was our first time to make it to the party.

We will be there in full force again this year. I am going to bring a giant rake and remove all the sea urchins from the area. Those little *******s were everywhere last year. I had to resort to wearing my flip flops in the water. Oh well small price to pay for such an exceptional party. THANK YOU!!!

We will be over at Marsh Harbor (actually at a house on Casuarina Point) during this. I don't suppose there are any ways to get there without renting a boat?

medijack unless you know of someone to hitch a ride with, you would best rent a boat.

Not a bad idea but please be kind to them because they are cool animals and a source of food for the ocean critters and varmints - you can probably dump them in 5 gallon buckets and motor out to throw them in over 15 feet of water. Long handle nets will work. I'm sure they were just mating - partying just like you!

Hello Abaco,

The Houseboat made it back in the water thanks to the great work of Abaco Yacht Services and their crew. Five months of work repairing but now it is party time. Fiddle Cay is being repaired from the damage of Irene and today we will complete the job.

The weather looks great and it should be a hot and sunny day Friday for the Cheeseburger Beach Party. We will have Jimmy Buffett music, 1200 bubba Burgers and plenty of drinks for the children and adults. There are many giveaways and prizes for the contest winners.

We hope to see everyone there for fun in the Bahamian sun.......

Bobb & Patricia Stranded Naked and friends

A Perfect Party

A chamber of commerce day greeted us and what a nice event. Light winds, no bugs and lots of beautiful people. I had a great time helping the cooks. The Miami Dade Fire Dept manned the grills and grilled non-stop from 11-4PM. Bubba Burgers was a terrific sponsor and outfitted the cooks. Congrats and THANK YOU to Bobb and Patricia for putting on such an amazing event.

Weather was great for the Cheeseburger party and has been great since! The rum drinks aren't bad either. Off to Grabbers now to sample a few more.
